Online Gambling Giant Party Gaming on the Up and Up PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 30 October 2007

The popular online gaming company, Party Gaming, has announced the results of its third quarter financial report and is shown to be extremely satisfied with the overall numbers. Despite a slight drop in poker revenues (down 3% to just under $75-million), Party Gaming was pleased with the performances from its sportsbetting and online gaming operations. Overall, the Gibraltar-based company improved its total revenues by 5% over last year’s revenues in the same quarter.

In the first half of the year, Party Gaming enjoyed an impressive 44% increase over last year’s performance in new sign-up players. Therefore, the company was reportedly not unduly disappointed by the 14% drop in new player sign ups. The company said in a statement that summer is traditionally a quiet time of the year and was still pleased to welcome the 130,000 new players into the Party Gaming fold.  When all is said and done, it seems that Party Gaming is making an impressive post-UIGEA comeback and lives up to its name as one of the leading software companies in the industry.
