Playtech Joins Up with Un-Named Asian Company PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 28 November 2007

In a surprise statement to the London stock exchange this week, the industry software leader, Playtech, announced that has signed on an Asian-based licensee that has a strong industry presence in that region. However, Playtech has refused to divulge the name of the gambling company just yet for reasons of confidentiality.

Under the new contract, Playtech will provide the mystery company with Asian focused peer-to-peer games. Clearly, the company is confident of the potential revenues that will come out of this deal. In fact, Playtech has already pinpointed the second quarter of 2008 as a date when all involved will start reaping the rewards of this partnership.

Apparently, Playtech management has been dealing with the Asian company for quite some time now regarding contract formalities. However, it seems that the licensee’s large customer base and its secure footing in the Asian market has made it a valuable addition to Playtech’s portfolio, and definitely worth the courting efforts.
