The results of an interesting six-month study into the gambling traits of European poker players were revealed this week. Everest Poker, the popular online poke room, examined to see exactly how a player’s national background affected his or her style of gaming. It was found, for example, that British players went about their game very much in the same way that they are stereotyped – very reserved and cautious. On the other hand, while it was expected that Spanish players would be fired up and passionate about poker, these players actually went about the game in a very calculated and analytical manner.
