888 Holdings has proven that not even the powerful Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act can affect its amazing growth. The Gibraltar-based company, that was forced to leave the US market after the UIGEA came into effect in 2006 – and lost half its business in the process - released its final quarter report for 2007 and showed that it had achieved unexpected growth. All in all, 888 Holdings pulled in $213-million in revenue last year – a 36% growth over the previous year’s performance.

888 Holdings has undertaken a serious marketing and growth campaign since 2006. It has entered into the Asian and Latin American markets and has increased its casino games. One its most successful ventures last year was the launching of 888ladies – a bingo site that offers women a place to enjoy their online fun. This site performed way above industry expectations and attracts hundreds of new members each day. All in all, revenue from casino games rose by an incredible 60% in the fourth quarter of 2007.
