Chartwell Reports High Quarterly Revenue |

Chartwell Technology, the Canadian-based gambling operator, has reported an excellent quarterly performance, showing a 25% improvement up from last year. Fees from Chartwell’s poker offering, PokerNexus, rose by a very impressive 88%, while casino fees rose 15%. The company recorded overall quarterly revenues of CAD $7 million. Following the news, shares of Chartwell Technology rose nearly 5% on the Toronto stock market, reaching CAD $2.62 a share. The CFO of Chartwell, Alan Richter said: "The second quarter was an excellent one for Chartwell. We’ve added licensees, deployed 13 new casino games and completed development on four more. We have made additional investments in the services we provide to our customers, and we are accomplishing all of this while controlling our expenses and thereby improving all of our key financial metrics."
