Two Poker Giants Pool Customer Bases PDF Print E-mail
Sunday, 27 July 2008

Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet, two poker rooms owned by Tokwiro Enterprises, will have their customer bases pooled onto one network to be known as Cereus Poker Network. This move was made to counter declining numbers of players on the site due to controversy surrounding insider cheating scandals on both sites.

"Cereus not only delivers the best online poker experience," said Paul Leggett, Chief Operations Officer at Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet, "it enables our company to improve our operations and deliver significantly better value and service to customers. Our company's goal is to provide poker players with the ultimate online experience. The launch of Cereus is a major step for us in achieving our goal and we look forward to making many more exciting announcements very soon."

According to reports, the sites will keep their independent brands for now and will only share customer bases.
