The European-facing “3” mobile phone operator has announced an agreement signed between itself, the Italian sportsbetting company, AtlantisBet and the Swedish mobile games developer, Mobenga.

According to the terms of the agreement, AtlantisBet will offer over 14 million “3” subscribers its lucrative sportsbetting platform through their mobile phones.

“This is a very exciting project and we are very happy to provide mobile services to Atlantisbet,” said the Chief Executive Officer of Mobenga, Christian Rajter. “It has been a very positive experience integrating and working with “3” and we have gotten the opportunity to create some very exciting functions for Atlantisbet such as that all Italian subscribers surf for free when using the application.”

Several months ago, “3” signed a deal with the UK-based Probability to have the latter’s mobile casino service installed on 2 million new phone handsets in 2008.
