The new online poker room, CardSpike, which was launched in summer, 2008, has angered its affiliates by not paying out rakeback players, despite continued promises. Poker forums are demanding that Cake Poker network, off whose platform CardSpike runs, take action in order to settle the payout issues. It is rumored that CardSpike is owned by two individuals behind the prestigious Casino Affiliates Program, making the issue all the more puzzling.
“CardSpike is a rogue skin on the Cake Poker network that has been delaying making payouts for months now”, wrote Nat Arem, who helped uncover the Absolute Poker cheating scandal last year. “If you're going to sign up for rakeback on the Cake Network, do it either at Cake Poker or Players Only. There are many reputable rakeback operators who run rakeback on these networks.” |
