Swedish Gambling Monopoly Chooses New CEO |

Svenska Spel, the government owned gambling monopoly in Sweden, announced this week that it has found a new Chief Executive Officer. Meta Persdotter will begin her role from February the first, bringing with her years of experience in various positions, including as CEO of Duka AB.“Svenska Spel is a very strong brand with a presence in Swedish society that few other companies can match,” said Perdotter. “This is a position that we must be proud of, at the same time making sure we can improve it as best as we can.”
“We're very pleased to be able to present Meta Persdotter as Svenska Spel's new CEO”, said Margareta Winberg, chairperson of Svenska Spel. “She has an excellent background in commerce and broad experience of developing both organizations and individuals, as well as customer service and various consumer oriented business operations. These experiences, combined with excellent personal leadership qualities, will be extremely valuable to Svenska Spel.” |
