eCOGRA Expands its Cover PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, January 15, 2009
The gambling industry watchdog group, eCommerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance (eCOGRA) announced this week that it would be extending independent testing and monitoring services to other fields in the gambling market, including sports betting, bingo and live gaming. This move now ensures that Ecogra’s coverage is the most complete out of all the regulation bodies in the industry.

“This enables operators in these sectors to come forward for assessment and testing with a view to achieving the Safe and Fair eCOGRA seal, already held by some 126 tier one online casinos and poker rooms,” said the Chief Executive Officer of eCOGRA, David Beveridge. “The response to the challenge to meet industry best practice standards and improve operational capability has already been remarkable, and we currently have a significant number of sportsbetting and bingo operations under review”.
