Registered players at the popular Doyle’s Room online poker site were sent an intriguing email this week informing them about a number of changes that are to take place in the near future. The poker room did not go into any details regarding the changes, although separate correspondence with the site through another source confirmed that the poker room would probably be moving to a new software platform. “The new software will be in effect in one week (or a few days more). The new software provider's information is not available yet for the public,” commented Doyle’s Room.
The poker room currently works off the Microgaming platform, a problem for players from the United States who were suddenly restricted by a new decision by the software company. Industry sources say that Doyle’s Room may move to the innovative Cake Poker platform, although there are other options available. |
