William Hill Online COO Announces Departure PDF Print E-mail

The Chief Operating Officer of William Hill Online, Peter Marcus, announced that his is leaving his position in “probably weeks”. Marcus first joined the site after Playtech signed a five year deal with the parent group William Hill.

 

When asked why he was leaving, Marcus said: “The reason for leaving is that we have just had a big restructure of the business and a number of the functions I manage have moved to Tel Aviv, and it was mutually agreed that I wasn’t interested in carrying on with fewer functions.”

 

The resignation seems to be have been done on mutual grounds between William Hill Online management and Marcus. The Chief Executive Officer of WHO, Henry Birch said: “This is purely how we structure the business and how we can operate most efficiently.”

 

No final date has been given regarding Marcus’ departure.
