The B2B unit of 888 Holdings gambling group, Dragonfish, has taken a step out of its traditional white label offerings and signed a deal with virtual world Second Life operators to provide them with epayment processing services. The deal will see 888 apply its almost decade long experience to the virtual community and allow Second Life to benefit from one of the best backend platforms in the industry.

“Today’s agreement extends our offer of Total Gaming Services into Total Payment Services and highlights the increasingly diverse nature and strength of Dragonfish’s operations,” said Dragonfish Managing Director, Gabi Campos. “We have many gaming partners interested in our e-Payment solutions but this is a giant step beyond our core operations into the retail environment. It’s an excellent complementary business for Dragonfish which will provide incremental revenue.”

CEO of Linden Lab, Second World operators, said that as Second Life continues to grow internationally, “we are pleased to work with them to provide easy and secure payment options for our users outside the United States.”
