The Cereus Poker Network has announced that it has received a Certified Software accreditation seal from eCOGRA. The network, owned by Tokwiro Enterprises and including two poker sites, Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet, underwent an depth review in terms of security and safety, according to the standards set by eCOGRA’s Generally Accepted Practices guideline. “Cereus management’s commitment to compliance, specifically player safety, facilitated an efficient review and certification process,” said the Compliance Manager for Ecogra, Sean Roberts. “The active measures taken, in light of events that impacted players, coupled with an impressive range of additional mitigating controls that have since been implemented, have contributed to the Cereus online poker network’s software reaching the standards we require for software accreditation.” “Doing everything possible to reassure the poker community that our operation and software are completely safe and secure is a priority for us,” said Paul Leggett, CEO of Towkiro Enterprises.
