Top Austrian software provider, Greentube, was pleased to announce that it has been accredited with eCOGRA’s seal of approval. The non profit, customer protection and standards authority, eCOGRA conducted an extensive review process at the software group’s Vienna premises and found that the development operations, methodologies and management control systems met all the standards set by eCOGRA’s generally accepted practices (eGAP). “Fortunately, we had recently passed the European Gambling and Betting Association standards for Backgammon, which are equally stringent, and that certainly helped prepare us for that aspect of the inspection,” said the Head of Integration and Development at Greentube, Thomas Kolbabek. “We're very pleased that we were successful in achieving the demanding eCOGRA standards, thus vindicating the considerable investment in time, energy and resources that we have made to ensure that our systems and products meet international best practice requirements.”
