Republican Calls for Changes in Gambling Regulations PDF Print E-mail

Peter King, one of the most outspoken representatives for the US Republican party has come out by saying that he believes that regulation is the way to go for the online gambling industry in the country. While the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act was passed on the back of the Homeland Security Act, King stated: “I see no homeland security or terrorist threats or whatever. King also said that there is no evidence that barring online gambling in the United Sates is working. “We’re losing revenue,” he said, “and we’re not achieving the social purpose that was intended.”
