Beijing News has reported that a Chinese man has died as the result of spending more than three consecutive days gambling online. The 31-year-old player collapsed in an internet café in the city of Guangzhou, China and could not be revived by paramedics who rushed to the scene. They had no choice but to declare him dead. It is reported that the player had spent an obviously disproportionate amount of time surfing and wagering at his favorite online casino sites, without taking a break. It is believed that the cause of death was eventual exhaustion. Experts across the board advise players to gamble in moderation – and certainly not for three days at a stretch! To get the most out of their gambling experience, players should take frequent breaks – preferably every 30 – 45 minutes. This tip has also been found to increase players’ alertness at online casinos and thus improve their overall performance.
