Parlay Entertainment Challenges Canadian Lottery Contract PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 09 October 2007
Parlay Entertainment, the Canadian based online bingo developer and distributor, has challenged the country’s Atlantic Lottery Corporation over what it deems as an unfair decision to grant Boss Media a contract to develop a new internet bingo game. On a new website launched by Parlay, the company stated that the job should have been tendered before a contract was awarded and has called for a full audit into the process.

In response, the Atlantic Lottery Corporation, which manages the lottery – both online and offline – in four Canadian provinces, said that Parlay Entertainment simply did not qualify to provide any of the services as laid down in the contract, while the Swedish Boss Media did. A spokesman for the Corporation said that the organization would continue to be open and honest about all transaction and contracts since it had nothing to hide. “I don’t understand what their goal is,” said the spokesman about Parlay’s challenge.
