Evolution has announced the signing of a new partnership agreement with Cordish Gaming Group. Under the provisions of the latest deal, the live casino specialist will make its offering of live dealer games and First Person RNG releases available at PlayLive! site in Pennsylvania.
Cordish Gaming Group is a part of Maryland-headquartered casino operator The Cordish Companies. Its PlayLive! casino site went live in August last year. The company’s online gambling site was developed through a partnership with technology firm GAN Limited. Play Live! online casino offers a wide selection of online slots and table games.
Strengthening Its Presence in Pennsylvania
PlayLive! was launched ahead of the opening of two land-based casinos owned by The Cordish Companies, giving players from Pennsylvania the chance to enjoy its offering. Live! Casino Pittsburgh open its doors for visitors a couple of months later, in November, while the grand opening of Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia took place in January. It’s the second casino resort doing business in Philly.
Following the Cordish Gaming Group deal, gamblers in Pennsylvania will be able to enjoy Evolution’s live dealer games, game show-style titles, and First Person lineup. All live games will be broadcast from the company’s new live studio. Located in Philadelphia, the studio should be up and running in the second quarter of 2020.
Speaking about his side’s latest move, Jeff Millar, Commercial Director at Evolution, pointed out his company was looking forward to working together with Cordish Gaming Group and offering its extensive gaming content portfolio to customers in Pennsylvania.
Millar added that Evolution’s lineup of live dealer games and First Person titles represented the perfect fit for the PlayLive! casino site. He also said it would further develop the site’s online experience.

Joe Billhimer, Executive Vice President at Cordish Gaming Group, stated the new Live! Casino and Hotel properties would offer customers the very best customer experiences. At the same time, the PlayLive! is envisioned as a way of delivering a complimentary online offer, as equally entertaining and appealing to their customers in the Keystone State.
Billhimmer went on to say that Cordish Gaming Group made the right decision when choosing Evolution as its gaming partner. Explaining these reasons, he said that everyone at the company was sure the quality and breadth of Evolution’s Live Casino offering of games would help them further increase their market presence and fulfill all of their goals.
Evolution debuted in Pennsylvania in late 2019 after receiving the regulatory approval to offer its content in the state. Since then, the provider has been working together with a number of local operators with PlayLive! being the latest among them.
Evolution inked its first deal shorty after receiving approval from the state’s regulator, the Gaming Control Board, partnering with Penn National Gaming. In November last year, the leading developer of Live Casino content signed a similar agreement with Caesars Entertainment. In January 2021, Evolution inked a deal with Parx Casino. That move further bolstered the company’s US footprint as it allowed the provider to reach a new audience of players in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
