ALADDIN’S LOOT

Aladdin's Loot

Aladdin’s Loot is a 5×3 Arabian-themed online slot with twenty-five flexible paylines made by Genii. The game features just one bonus: the free spins round. Will this be enough to keep players interested?

WHERE TO PLAY ALADDIN’S LOOT

If you decide to tackle this title, we recommend doing so at Desert Nights casino. The website allows players from the United States to sign up and play with real money. It also features more releases by Genii, which is great news for their fans.

SLOT INFORMATION

Players can bet between $0.01 and $25 on each spin. However, the minimum stake is increased to $0.25 if you leave all twenty-five paylines active. Aladdin’s Loot is played on a 5×3 board with twenty-five flexible paylines we can toggle on and off at will.

Winning combinations require three or more matching symbols in adjacent positions, starting with the leftmost reel. Wins have to follow an active payline, or the associated cash prize will not be paid to the player.

The theoretical return to player (RTP) for this slot is 91%. This is much lower than many other games. Considering the current industry average RTP floats around 96%, this is too low for us to recommend.

BASE GAME

The software provider features twelve distinct icons, which draw clear inspiration from the Disney Aladdin movies. Keep a special eye out for the Aladdin Wild, genie Scatter and lamp-free spin symbol. Each one has a matching special effect that makes them more important than other icons.

The Aladdin Wild can substitute for any other symbol except for Scatters. However, it is also the highest paying icon, worth 7500 coins for a five-of-a-kind win. The least valuable symbol is the number nine, worth 100 coins for a five-icon win.

FREE SPINS

Three, four, or five lamp Scatters activate ten, fifteen, or twenty free spins, respectively. While free spins are being played, all payouts are doubled in value. Furthermore, it is possible to retrigger the special feature while free spins are being played. Genie Scatters cannot activate free spins but grant an impressive cash prize instead.

VERDICT

We have to admit, this release feels like Genii did their best to copy Disney without getting sued. The inspiration is very obviously there, with minor alterations to give them plausible deniability. Apart from that, we do not have much to say about the graphics. They are good, though nothing so spectacular we would gush over it.

Unfortunately, we cannot extend the same rating for the gameplay. First, with a 91% return to player, Aladdin’s Loot lags behind most other slots. It does not help the developer gives us only one special feature to play with. We have played enough Genii games to know they can do better than this. That is why we recommend skipping this particular release.
