Captain Shockwave looks quite nice, considering it launched in 2014. The background is a little undefined, but it looks all right. It keeps your focus on the playing field and the action happening there. We like the unique symbol designs, but the playing card royals leave us wanting more.
The gameplay loop is all about getting Wilds and free spins. Prizes outside of it can be good, but they rarely reach the same heights. Outside of these bonuses, all you can do is spin and hope for the best. We had a nice time playing this title, and we will definitely be coming back to it.
